A influência do IMC de mulheres adultas na percepção de desconforto no uso de sutiãs: discussões sobre o design de vestuário íntimo feminino
Abstract
O sutiã é um vestuário íntimo feminino, referência na evolução tecnológica e da moda. Apesar de contribuir para a sustentação dos seios, ainda apresenta problemas dimensionais que geram desconforto às usuárias. Este estudo objetivou compreender se mulheres usuárias de sutiãs, e distribuídas em diferentes IMCs, percebem diferentes níveis de desconforto em relação aos diferentes modelos e seus componentes. Uma abordagem exploratória e indutiva, com aplicação de instrumento subjetivo de autorrelato, envolveu 90 participantes, distribuídas em três grupos: IMC1824 (peso normal); IMC2529 (com sobrepeso); e IMC30+ (com obesidade). Os resultados indicam que nem sempre o IMC é um fator que influencia o nível de percepção de desconforto, mas quando influencia (p≤0,05) ocorre nas mulheres com obesidade (IMC30+). Portanto, o IMC deve ser considerado no dimensionamento e, consequentemente, no briefing do design de sutiãs.
